Zorpia

I just got an email from a 'friend' who is a member of the social network, Zorpia. This 'friend' has the name 'Maddie.' I do not have a friend by the name of 'Maddie,' therefore I was suspicious. So I Googled Zorpia. Ah, here we are, many, many pages of this Zorpia website. I don't think I'm going to click on those.

Anyways, after a bit of rewording ("what the heck is Zorpia"), I finally found a blog post about the website about how to delete your account. And from that blog post, I found previous blog post (by the same person) about joining it--with many details on how it repeatedly asks you to spam your friends while joining. Yeeaaahhh.

Basically, I'm just posting this to warn peops about it, 'cause it sounds like it's a pain to join and a pain to delete and just generally a pain in between those two. If you get any emails from Zorpia, delete them. You don't want to go to the trouble of reading any messages left (which were probably prewritten by Zorpia peops anyways...), even if they are from someone you know.
